Ed Challies is a Senior Lecturer in Water Policy and Management with the Waterways Centre for Freshwater Management at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He is also an Adjunct Research Associate with the Research Group on Governance and Sustainability at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany. His background is in human geography and environmental policy and governance, and he has research interests in collaborative governance, environmental politics and land and water management.
